How to use WI-FI connection only?

Q.

I have a iPhone 4S.
1:
Is it possible for me to turn off Viber’s ability to use other networks than WiFi? Easily? (To prevent switching and thereby expensive calls) Lost calls = no problem.

2:
When I’m in Spain the dataplan gets really expensive, are there things I need to know about Viber as datatransfere in standby mode and so on.
I have seen somewhere that Viber uses 1kb pr min even when not in use, that means about 200$ every 5 month when not in a Free WiFi zone.

A. Yes, when idling, Viber uses about 1KB per minute of call in order to synchronize with our servers. However, you can prevent this by choosing to exit Viber through the "More" tab. This means it doesn't consume any data at all, and will only "wake up" upon events (text messages & calls). Of course, you can choose not to receive calls when you are connected to 3G. Unfortunately the option of turning off Viber only on 3G does not exist yet. We are considering to add it in future versions, and if we have any news on that, we'll publish it on our Facebook page :)
