Uninstalling Viber – Automatic removal
If you uninstall the Viber application from your primary device, or if your account is inactive for any other reason, your address book data will be removed from Viber servers after 45 days. However, the good news is your phone number (account) will be removed only after 1 year of inactivity.
Deactivating account – Instant removal
Viber 2.0 has a “Deactivate Account” option under a “More” tab that instantly deactivates your account. By choosing to deactivate your account in this manner, you will be deleted from the list of Viber contacts on your friends’ phones.

It is good to know, although you have never explicitly created a Viber account, that it will be created as soon as you have typed in your phone number when you activate the app. In short, your phone number is your Viber account number. Your address book data and your call logs are stored and associated together with it.
When you deactivate Viber off of your phone, Viber will also be deactivated from the device such as a tablet as well. When you reactivate Viber on your phone, it will not reactivate Viber on your tablet or a similar device.
Deactivation does not remove any photos that were sent to your account while Viber was active on the tablet. If you received photos after Viber was activated on the tablet, those images will still be on the tablet. Deactivation will not remove these photos.
Message history is not saved to devices – it is associated with your account. Once your account is deactivated, your messages are deleted.
