Android users can Viber in an entirely new way. Now Google allows voice control for Viber, as well as WhatsApp and other messaging apps. According to Google, Android users can use the “ok Google” command to activate and control Viber. Users can use the voice recognition feature to dictate messages, call contacts, or control the app.
For example, users can now call up Viber by saying something like, “okay Google, send a message to Katie on Viber. Tell her that I won’t be able to come to the party tonight but I hope to see her next week.” The voice activation feature is only available with the newest versions of Viber for Android and the Android operating system.
So far, the service is only available in English, but more languages are likely to come soon. Now you have another way to reach out to people through Viber.
